Low Flow Toilets by "Save Water Project"

In 1992 the government made low flow toilets the standard for a toilet's water usage. The law went into effect on Jan 1, 1994 Since then evolution of low flow toilets over the past decade has given birth to the dual flush, low flush toilet. These low flow toilets save tons of water while maintaining maximum flushing performance. Conserving water and reducing the demand on local water treatment facilities is on the forefront of the water saving revolution. According to USA Today, the average person flushes the toilet five to eight times a day, and at a greedy five gallons a flush, the numbers start to add up quickly [source: Winter]. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, completely eliminating old style, water guzzling toilets would save about 2 billion gallons of water each day in the United States [source: Green Living]. With a growing population, an aging water treatment infrastructure and the looming threat of global warming contributing to uncertain weather, water conservation will continue to be a big issue. Dual flush low flow toilets are a great way to enhance the style of your bathroom. Save money, Save water, purchase one of our low flow toilets.
